Yokohama’s latest installment of its consumer education-focused video series – “Tire Tips” – features an updated version of how to read a tire’s sidewall. It is the seventh edition of a program that began in 2010.

“Understanding the information on the sidewall of a tire is very important for selecting the appropriate replacement tire,” says Fred Koplin, director of marketing communications.

“However, many consumers are not familiar with what the sidewall markings mean. By explaining them, the video educates viewers so they can more confidently make informed tire purchases,” he elaborates.

Koplin says future Tire Tips videos will continue to provide suggestions to consumers on ways to get the most out of their tires.
