Yokohama raises prices on light, medium commercial truck tires

Yokohama will implement a price increase of up to 8 percent on all of its light and medium commercial truck tires in the U.S., effective Oct. 1. There will also be in-line adjustments.
Yokohama will implement a price increase of up to 8 percent on all of its light and medium commercial truck tires in the U.S., effective Oct. 1. There will also be in-line adjustments.

“Several factors make the increase necessary, unfortunately,” says Rick Phillips, director of commercial sales. “The costs of raw materials, manufacturing and transportation remain at highly elevated levels. These, regrettably, have to be reflected in our product pricing,” he reports.

“Notwithstanding,” says Phillips, “Yokohama remains steadfast in bringing the best commercial tires to market at competitive prices using our operational efficiencies and latest technology.”
