June 26, 2012—Mike Shesterkin, manager of sustainability and business process improvements for AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings (A&AC), will speak during the 2012 I-CAR Industry Event and Collision Industry Conference (CIC) luncheon in July.
Shesterkin, an expert on the advancement of sustainable business practices in the collision repair industry, will focus on the theme “Beyond ‘Green’⎯Sustainability & Collision Repair,” during the luncheon.
“I’m honored to have been asked to share this message with the leaders of this industry,” Shesterkin said. “The awareness of the need for sustainable business practices is growing daily and is being discussed at the highest levels of corporations and governments. Leaders from all sectors of the collision repair industry will be present for this program. My hope is that they will come away with a solid connection to the principles of sustainability and the impact that practical application of these principles can have in making their businesses more profitable.”
The I-CAR and CIC luncheon is scheduled for July 16 at the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk in San Antonio. AkzozNobel’s annual FIT Sustainability and Most Influential Women (MIW) awards banquet and Sustainability Leadership Symposium will also be held in conjunction with the event. The awards banquet will be held July 19, and the leadership symposium on July 20.
