PPG Announces Custom Painting Courses

PPG has announced its schedule for custom painting classes throughout the rest of the 2017 calendar year.

Sept. 20, 2017—PPG on Tuesday announced its schedule for custom painting classes throughout the rest of the 2017 calendar year. The courses aim to help paint technicians fully use PPG products.

The courses are led by accomplished PPG instructors and are held throughout North America. Technicians receive classroom instruction, along with hands-on training in shop settings. A full range of topics is covered, from product selection, equipment and color tools to surface preparation and paint-application best practices.

According to PPG, refinish courses focus on multiple company brands, such as the VIBRANCE collection, and include the latest colors, micas, pigments and special effects. Classes include: Basic Pinstriping and Airbrushing, Custom Wood Grain Techniques and Custom Graphics. A special restoration seminar is also offered.
