Jan. 17, 2018—S/P2 has added two new training packages to its available curriculum: one focused on human resources training and one focused on soft skills training.

These training packages are intended for use by shops as well as career technical education programs.

The S/P2 Human Resources Training Package includes online courses addressing sexual harassment training for employees and managers, active shooter situations, violence in the workplace, bullying in the workplace, and substance abuse awareness.

The S/P2 Soft Skills Training Package includes courses on personal professionalism, developing effective communication skills, creating a customer-centered culture, telephone skills, and meeting management.

Career tech schools also receive the “Land that Job! Building a Resume” course.

“The HR courses are must-haves in today’s very public,” said S/P2 President, Kyle Holt. “Hollywood and Washington D.C. are embroiled in sexual harassment scandals, but this issue affects everyone. Every business and school should be conducting training to protect themselves and those employed or studying under their roofs. In addition, courses that provide information about active shooter situations, bullying, and other topics can help manage risk while protecting staff and students.”
