AirPro Earns Notice of Patent for Remote Programming

AirPro Diagnostics has announced that the company recently received a notice of allowance for a patent application regarding its process to remotely program vehicles.

Oct. 30, 2018—AirPro Diagnostics has announced that the company recently received a “Notice of Allowance” from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a patent application regarding its process to remotely program vehicles across the Internet using OEM software.

AirPro, a Jacksonville, Fla.-based automotive technology company, focuses much of its work on remote OEM diagnostic scanning, programming, safety system and ADAS calibrations. Company president Lonnie Margol said in a press release that earning the patent recognition “is an important milestone” for AirPro, as the company continues to develop strategies to deliver OEM-compliant remote scanning, diagnostics and calibration solutions for collision repairers.
