Dec. 3, 2018—Insurance appraisers, as well as repairers, are ranked in the top 25 highest-paying jobs for those without a college degree, reported The Street.

The median annual wage for auto insurance appraisers is $63,000, according to the report. The median annual salary for auto repairers is almost $65,000 and the industry growth rate is expected to grow by 7.1 percent through 2026. 

The ideal break-in point is to earn a job as a mechanics specialist for a few years, then be promoted to a manager, the report suggested.
