A collision repair shop in New Mexico has appeared to have shut down but has kept customer's cars behind locked gates.
Feb. 21, 2019—Maurer's Collision in northeast Albuquerque, N.M. appears to have shut down and several cars are being held behind locked gates, reported KOB 4.
The customers said they were given no notice.
One customer told KOB 4 that she was told she'd have her car back in five days. Now, it has been four weeks and she still does not have her vehicle. Another customer said repairs on her vehicle have taken five months to complete.
The business owners have not returned KOB's requests for comment. Meanwhile, the property owner said they are ending their relationship with the business.
