Curry's Auto Service, headquartered in Gainesville, Va., has been named to the Inc 5000 list for the third consecutive year. With a three-year growth rate of 117 percent, Curry's Auto Service has advanced 1,781 points to No. 2,191 in the 2012 list – from No. 3,972 when it was first honored in 2010.

Curry's was listed at No. 2,930 in 2011. Curry’s Auto Service was the ranked the 126th fastest growing business in Consumer Products and Services Industries.
Companies on the 2012 Inc. 5000 list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2008 through 2011. Curry's Auto Service recorded revenues of $!6.6 million in 2011, an increase of $8.9 million - or 117 percent - over its revenues of $7.4 million in 2008.
Curry’s has nine locations location’s in Northern Virginia and Maryland and opened three new stores in 2011. Curry’s Auto Service is one of the largest independent auto service and repair shops in the Washington, DC, area. Curry's services more than 4,500 customer each month at its shops in Alexandria, Arlington, Chantilly, Dulles, Fairfax City, Falls Church, Gainesville, Gaithersburg and Great Falls/Reston. It also was the 2010 Motor Age Top Shop.
"We have continued our growth mode in 2012, concentrating on increasing business in our nine service areas and moving our headquarters to Gainesville," says Matt Curry, president and CEO of Curry’s Auto Service. "We plan to open a new shop in Leesburg, Virginia, by the end of the year.”
Earlier this year, Curry's Auto Service was recognized as a finalist for the Washington Area Jefferson Awards for Public Service. Matt and Judy Curry, co-founders of Curry's Auto Service, have donated their time and money, totaling more than $300,000, to 57 national and regional charitable groups, churches, parent-teacher associations and youth athletic clubs since they started their company in 1997. Curry's was also a 2012 finalist for the area's Apollo Awards for best practices in employee development.
