Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) 2012 issued a call for presentations from industry speakers, professional speakers and subject matter experts who want to participate in the conference program at this year's event.

Comprised of the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS), ASRW is scheduled for Oct. 10-13 at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, La. Presentations must be submitted online and will be selected to fit the Management, Technical or Women's Professional Development tracks and available formats of either 90 minutes or three hours.

All three-hour sessions are scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 10. Ninety minute sessions will be scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 10 - Saturday, Oct. 13, and presenters should be available to speak on any day of the conference. The deadline for submitting presentations is Friday, February 10th.

Show Management and the ASRW conference planning committee will review all proposals on originality of proposal, past speaker performance (or references), timeliness of topic, practical application of concepts or information, and/or relevance to the collision repair and automotive service industries.

"The comprehensive training and education we are able to provide each year at ASRW is contingent upon the experts and industry leaders who are willing to lead a session, and we're always proud of the caliber and quality of education we're able to offer to the industry each year," said Bill Haas, vice president of education and training for ASA.

"ASRW has a long-standing history of meeting the educational needs of the industry, and we look forward to receiving presentation ideas which will shape and guide this year's program." All presentations selected for the Management and Women's Professional Development tracks will be submitted to the Automotive Management Institute (AMI) for potential AMI accreditation.
