The four winners of the Professionals' Choice Auto Parts Kansas Speedway Sweepstakes recently speant a weekend of racing with otherAutomotive Parts Associates member.
The promotion ran from July through September in more than 230 of APA's shareholders' warehouse locations and ended with smiles all around. Professionals' Choice warehouse distributors gave every customer who purchased a product from one of the sponsoring manufacturers an entry form for a chance to win.
This year's winners, each bringing a guest were Brad Rhodes from D & B Service Center in Derby, Kan.; Ted McKelvey from Ted's Service Center in Staffordville, N.J. ; Peter Crawford from Ultimate Auto in Quispamsis, NB, Canada and Ronnie Baiad, from Ronnie's Service in Brookfield, Conn. They all were excited to meet racing professionals like RIchard Chidlress, Jimmy Johnson and Martin Truex Jr.
"Often times, our winners are surprised to learn that their names are literally drawn from a big tumbler of thousands of entries. There's no favoritism being played, it's simply luck of the draw," says Caprice Caster, Director of Events & Promotions from Automotive Parts Associates.
The VIP weekend included garage passes and more.
The manufacturers who sponsored this year's Speedway promotion are Federal Mogul, Honeywell CPG, Exide, Airtex Fuel, Bendix, ASC Industries, KYB, Dorman and BOSCH.
