TireBuyer.com, a website designed to assist motorists with their tire and wheel buying selections, will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 01 Nationwide series Chevrolet during Saturday’s Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The project is group effort among driver Mike Wallace, JD Motorsports and the site’s producers to help push the importance of proper tire maintenance.

“The success of a summer road trip rides on tire safety,” says Wallace. “It’s important to check your tire pressure, examine your tire treads and replace all four tires as necessary before you hit the gas pedal,” he advises.

“Driving around on tires that are under or over inflated or worn-out isn’t safe,” Wallace points out, adding that tires are the only point of contact cars have with the road.

To reinforce the message, a Facebook fan of the site will be randomly selected to receive a special prize pack each time all four tires are changed on Wallace’s car during the May 29 race.
