Toyota is running a dealership tire sales and gasoline fill-up promotion entailing “Buy 4 tires, get a gas card worth $50.” The set of four tires must be purchased at a Toyota dealership at a cost exceeding $150. It applies to Toyota models only, excluding the Scion marque. Running through June 30, this is the third time the promotion has been run. It was introduced in 2006, Toyota spokesman Bill Kwong tells Tire Topics. “The gas card is good at virtually every gasoline station that welcomes the American Express Card,” Kwong explains. “Customers will fill out and send us a mail-in form, available at the dealership, along with their service invoice. Customers that include an email address will receive an email with a unique tracking number. They can track the status of their gas card on a website that will show them if their mail-in form has been received and if their gas card has been sent,” he says.
