Jan. 1, 2000

Oct. 9, 2014—Truck-Lite Co. has made a donation to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation in memory of Lee Lydic, its longtime national fleet systems development manager who passed away in April, the company announced on Wednesday.

Lydic was remembered by his coworkers during the recent Truck-Lite international sales meeting held in Erie, Pa., and an auction was held during the awards banquet to increase the amount donated in his name.

“We are honored to make a memorial donation to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation in the name of our esteemed colleague, Lee Lydic,” said John Howells, vice president of sales for the Americas and Europe for Truck-Lite. “Lee was well liked and respected by everyone. His smile and upbeat personality will not soon be forgotten. This donation is our way of honoring Lee’s legacy and is a fitting tribute to a fine man who was passionate about our industry.”
