Timkeninfo.com gives professional technicians and ‘do-it-yourselfers’ a one-stop site for all the Timken product information needed to do the job right the first time. Through these applications, users can search for Timken products by year/make/model, part number or competitor’s part number. In addition, the site offers convenient access to torque specifications for Timken products. Available torque specs cover axle nuts, flange bolts and wheel studs.

Additionally, Timken launched a mobile version of its distributor site, TimkenStore.com. The mobile version gives Timken authorized distributors the ability to check price and availability of Timken products anytime, anywhere, using their mobile devices.

“With today’s technology, customers demand instant access to information. It’s up to the manufacturer to provide customers throughout the channel data anytime, anywhere,” said Barry Harris, global manager of strategy, cataloging and marketing for Timken. “As an aftermarket leader, we continue to provide technology and processes that simplify doing business with us. In today’s environment, we supply more than the premium products we’re known for; we work to enable stronger performance for our channel partners at every level, whether they are a distributor, a jobber or an installer.
