The International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) will offer tire aftermarket participants an open and interactive discussion on high performance tires and related issues when it kicks off the biennial show this fall.
Moderated by Leo Mehl, former director of worldwide racing at Goodyear and now a race car consultant, the panel discussion will deal with timely issues on high performance tires that are of importance to tire dealers, distributors and wholesalers. The panelists will open the session by exploring the challenges and opportunities tire dealers face to market and sell high performance tires.
The session will then open the forum to the attendees to discuss any related topic that they believe is important to them and the tire industry. The high-performance panel is slated from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 23 during ITEC at the I-X Center in Cleveland.
The panelists are Tom Gravalos, vice president, marketing, motorsports & OE sales, Pirelli; Al Speyer, executive director, Firestone Racing, Bridgestone; Bill Bainbridge, director, brand communications, Hankook; Bob Toth, director, new products, and innovation, Goodyear; Adam Murphy, business segment director, HP products, Michelin; Mark Richter, senior manager, dealer marketing, Falken; and Keith Black, regional sales manager, Black’s Tire & Auto Service.
The panel discussion is included in the registration fee of $50 for independent tire dealers distributors and personnel at tire manufacturing facilities. The registration fee for suppliers to the tire industry is $200.
