Firestone Industrial Products names light duty manager

Firestone Industrial Products Company has promoted Paul Fessel to division manager of Light Duty Business, which includes the company's Ride-Rite air helper spring product line.

Firestone Industrial Products Company has promoted Paul Fessel to division manager of Light Duty Business, which includes the company's Ride-Rite air helper spring product line.

In his role, Fessel will lead the company's complete line of suspension solution products, which include Ride-Rite, Sport-Rite, Coil-Rite and Level-Rite air helper springs. He will also oversee development of Firestone's latest product offerings: R4Tech, a hybrid air/leaf suspension system featuring Ride-Rite air spring; and SANLUIS Rassini suspension technologies, as well as Ride-Rite LS -- new load adaptive shocks that are an upgrade to the company's air helper springs.

Fessel has been with Firestone for 16 years, previously serving as project engineer for Ride-Rite sales; applications engineer and sr. sales engineer for OE sales; China business development manager; and automotive OE sales manager. 

"Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will allow him to manage the growth of our light duty business," says Michael Sigillito, director, sales and marketing, Firestone Industrial Products. "While overseas supporting our expansion into China, Paul gained unique insight into total business operations that will prove invaluable as he steps into his new role."

Fessel will be headquartered in the company's Indianapolis, Ind. office.
