GM: Chevrolet and GMC Trucks with 6.6L Duramax engine

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with code P0401 and/or P0403 indicates a problem with the EGR system. The bulletin indicates the problem is most likely to be cured by reprogramming the Electronic Control Module (ECM). Check for the latest calibration number on the TIS2WEB information Web site. The bulletin also specifies the EGR valve should be cleaned at the same time before returning the vehicle to service. No instructions or calibration numbers are given.

HYUNDAI: Veracruz, Santa Fe, Azera, Entourage and Sonota with 2.7L, 3.3L or 3.8L engine

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with code P0638 and/or P2135 indicates a problem with the throttle actuator or position sensor (respectively). Codes P1295 or P2106 might also be set. The bulletin includes complete repair and recalibration instructions for each model/engine. It supercedes an earlier bulletin (08-FL-004-1) and says the throttle actuator is now available separately for certain engines.
