The Automotive Training Managers Council (ATMC) has introduced a new Web site with interactive features that will facilitate the sharing of information among its members and between the organization and the public.

Visitors to the site at www.atmc.org will find a wealth of information about the ATMC, its members, events and mission, and can apply online for membership or register to participate in the organization's events throughout the year.

“This upgrade to the ATMC website has been in development for some time,” says Dave Milne, ATMC president. “We talked to our members to find out what they wanted in the ATMC Web site and based the new design on developing tools and features to enhance the value to both members and those seeking information about ATMC.”

A new forum feature, plus a news blog page, will allow members to network with one another, sharing training methods and technical information. Members will also have the ability to retrieve research publications and other resources from the site.

“ATMC has reinvented itself over the past year,” says Corey Glassman, ATMC chairman. “The new Web site is one of the first examples of how the leadership is working to deliver the latest information to help training providers keep abreast of changes in the methods, content and technology available to improve the training experience and effectiveness for automotive technicians worldwide.”
