Harlan Wawrzyniak has been named the Cengage Learning/ASE Master Automobile Technician of the Year. Delmar, part of Cengage Learning and a provider of learning solutions for ongoing career development and education, and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) presented the award.
The national award recognizes the automotive technician who earns the highest composite score on the ASE certification exams, the industry standard for automotive professionals. Delmar awarded Wawrzyniak a cash prize and an all-expenses-paid trip to the ASE’s annual Board of Directors’ Industry Awards Dinner for achieving such notable scores on his ASE exams.
“Delmar and ASE are dedicated to improving and supporting professional education for all automotive technicians,” says Kristen Davis, director of Professional Transportation Industry Solutions, Delmar. “Mr. Wawrzyniak’s dedication to his own professional education and certification reflects that same commitment and we are honored to present him with this award.”
Wawrzyniak has been an automotive technician for 40 years and is the owner of Harlan’s Auto Repair in Silver Lake, Minn. Along with his passion for cars and sports, Wawrzyniak takes pleasure in owning and operating his own business, and is pleased with his accomplishments on the ASE exams.
“I enjoy the challenges of being a technician and I take pride in being ASE-certified,” says Wawrzyniak.
