OTC, an SPX brand, is offering $50 cash back on purchases of Genisys EVO Kits. The kits, which include the new Genisys EVO software features and coverage updates, will function on all Genisys tools running System 3.0.

Customers who purchase one qualifying product from any participating reseller between now and Dec. 31 will receive a rebate coupon to fill out and mail to SPX while supplies last. Qualifying customers in the U.S. and Canada will receive a $50 cash card from SPX.

Qualifying products include the following Genisys EVO Kits:

· 3421-104 Domestic Software Update Kit
· 3421-105 Asian Software Update Kit
· 3421-106 Asian/ Domestic Software Update Kit
· 3421-109 ABS Software Update Kit
· ABS Starter Kit

A major highlight of the Genisys EVO Kit is Code-Assist, a technician-requested feature that helps technicians find the correct diagnostic procedure faster. Code-Assist was developed using more than 3.5 million hotline calls to the Identifix Repair Hotline and the 5 million-plus Direct-Hit™ uses by Identifix customers each year, states the company.

Unlike the traditional list of theoretical potential causes provided by service manuals, Code-Assist supplies validated fixes for the B, C, P and U codes actually being set on vehicles and then ranks them by frequency, designating them as Top Reported Fixes, Frequently Reported Fixes and Also Reported Fixes. Code-Assist saves time and increases productivity by helping to prioritize your diagnostic strategy.
