Affinia’s Global Brake & Chassis Group has introduced 570 new Raybestos part numbers in the first five months of 2009. Of these new part numbers, 292 apply to popular import applications.
The extended coverage offerings are updated monthly and available to technicians in a variety of formats: the downloadable Raybestos eSelect program, the Raybestos brand Web catalog service at www.raybestos.com and www.raybestoschassis.com, and as PDF supplements available through Raybestos sales representatives. The company says nearly 10,000 technicians have downloaded new part numbers and carried-up applications using the eSelect program.
The May catalog update announced an additional 101 new product numbers, including 71 wheel and hub numbers for popular truck applications such as the Chevrolet/GMC Avalanche, Express, Savana and Sierra, the Dodge Ram, the Ford F250, F350, F450 and F550, as well as several Mazda and Toyota trucks. The May update also includes new Brake pad, Caliper, Ball Joint and Coil Spring part numbers.
“When you look at across-the-board coverage offered by various aftermarket companies, you will see that the Raybestos brand consistently out-produces the competition,” says Josh Russell, vice president of marketing, Affinia Global Brake and Chassis Group. “That’s not bravado or fact-twisting, that’s just the truth. The proof is in the parts.”
