Sunergeo now offers ASA members a no-cost prescription drug discount card through its Rx-Saver program. The Rx-Saver discount prescription card is accepted by more than 63,000 pharmacies nationwide, including all major chains.
ASA estimates that this plan can save members an average of 20 percent annually on their prescription drug purchases. Everyone in the cardholder's household is covered, so members may purchase their spouse's or children's prescriptions on the same discount plan.
"With the rising cost of health care and related expenses, the association believes this new member benefit will assist our members, their employees and families in reducing some of those costs," says B.J. Johnson, ASA's vice president of membership services. "This no-cost, no-commitment member benefit is just one more tool ASA is providing to our member-businesses as an added value to their association membership."
