NAPA/ASE Name 2008 Specialist of the Year
NAPA/ASE Name 2008 Specialist of the YearATLANTA, GA (Oct. 16, 2007) - NAPA Auto Parts and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) have
named Brent Filchner the 2008 NAPA/ASE Parts Specialist of the Year.
Filchner, an outside sales representative at Walnutport Auto Parts in Walnutport, Pa., is the ninth individual to receive this special
parts professional honor within the NAPA organization. Filchner, an ASE P2 certified Automotive Parts Specialist, has more than 20 years experience in the automotive industry.
His credentials and certifications from NAPA Autotech and NAPA
manufacturers' schools and clinics include heating and cooling, paint,
brake and chassis, filtration, electrical and fuel injection. Filchner has also honed his selling skills and industry knowledge by
completing NAPA SalesPRO, NAPA SalesMASTER, FastTrack Parts Professional LAPs
and Vin Waterhouse training courses. "A panel of judges, consisting of ASE, trade press, university and aftermarket industry association representatives, unanimously selected_Brent for this honor," said NAPA President Bob Susor. "He is
an excellent choice for this recognition and a fine representative for parts specialists throughout not only NAPA but our entire
