WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio — Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp. (SWAFC) Training Center courses are designed to provide classroom, Web and hands-on knowledge to automotive collision professionals. Classes are held in dedicated training centers in 11 metropolitan areas in the United States and Canada.
These consist of more than 30 different courses including painter certification, waterborne systems, color adjustment and blending, fleet refinishing, OEM certification training, accurate estimating, and workshop efficiency.
All SWAFC class offerings, both business and technical, directly relate to the company’s philosophy of helping its customers through “lean thinking” – introducing concepts that support sustainable practices – which can increase productivity while minimizing or eliminating waste.
“We think it’s imperative that all Sherwin-Williams class offerings combine both productivity and sustainable practices as important business procedures,” says Rod Habel, SWAFC director of training. “This is particularly relevant when it comes to educating our customers in enhanced workshop efficiency, improved production throughput, estimating solutions for profit and even identifying key performance indicators.”
