LAS VEGAS – CCC Information Services again presented a $5,000 contribution to the I-CAR Education Foundation. The donation supports the Foundation’s mission to provide programs and services to attract entry-level candidates and ably prepare them for careers in the automobile collision repair industry. For more than 10 years, CCC has made an annual donation to the I-CAR Education Foundation.

“It’s crucial that the I-CAR Education Foundation continues to operate as a driving force in our industry, supporting the activities that promote and enhance career opportunities in the industry,” said Jim Dickens, General Manager of the Automotive Services Group at CCC Information Services Inc. and I-CAR Education Foundation Board Trustee.

CCC collaborates efforts with the I-CAR Education Foundation’s administration of the CCC Michael Salvatore Memorial Student Repair Technician Scholarship Program, which was initiated to address the collision repair industry’s need for qualified technicians. The scholarship is in its third consecutive year of operation.

"Thank you to CCC Information Services for their donation to the I-CAR Education Foundation," said Chris Evans, Chairman of the I-CAR Education Foundation Board of Trustees.

“As collision schools are cutting their budgets, the Education Foundation is filling the gap by offering school curriculum grants, instructor training grants and student scholarships. This donation will help the Education Foundation achieve their goals and help product the best entry-level technician as possible.”
