CHICAGO — Seeking to provide its franchises with an intuitive collision estimating solution that can efficiently communicate the repair process, Warren, Michigan-based Collision on Wheels has signed a multi-year agreement with CCC Information Services Inc. to enhance Collision on Wheels’ specialty in bringing professional mobile auto repair technology to the customer's home or workplace, conducting on-site dent repairs, painting and parts replacement. The agreement includes the utility of CCC Pathways Basic Plus Collision Estimating with an accounting interface and CCC's Auto Workfile Entry.

"As we continue to expand our franchises nationally, we wanted to drive consistency into every step of our mobile repair process," says Collision on Wheels Executive Vice President and COO Dick Atchity. "Our customers should have the same professional experience, whether we're writing an estimate for them in Denver or Detroit. We turned to CCC because they could provide us with that consistency."

CCC says the Pathways Estimating Solution has the ability to quickly and easily create and transmit a comprehensive estimate, helping reduce cycle time and get customers back into their cars faster after an accident. Designed with an integrated approach to the claims process, CCC Pathways has a variety of features and timesaving tools to help streamline your workflow. The Auto Workfile Entry function allows users to download a replica of a CCC Pathways workfile previously written by an insurance staff appraiser, which eliminates the need to manually re-key the estimate.
