SASSENHEIM, Netherlands — Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes and the newly formed DCR IP Company, LLC, have entered into a global strategic relationship structured to link the vision, strategies and practices of the two companies.

“DCR Intellectual Property has developed a unique business model which defines repeatable processes for creating maximum efficiencies within a collision repair center,” says Jim Rees Global General Manager, Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes. “The operating model of the business processes which they have created connect beautifully with the technological efficiencies that we have built into our Sikkens products. Additionally, the strategic approach to removing waste, consuming fewer resources and improving quality within the repair process clearly aligns with our ambition on improving sustainability”.
