AkzoNobel, DCR Systems to expand Process Centered Environment program

AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings and DCR Systems have broadened and extended their existing agreement to further develop the Process Centered Environment (PCE) program while reaching more collision repairers. AkzoNobel plans to expand the PCE program to develop closer working relationships with collision repair centers in Mexico, Latin America, Europe and Asia.

PCE was formally introduced in 2007. Since that point it has garnered growing recognition and acclaim from independent, multi-shop and dealership collision centers throughout North America. PCE minimizes the non-value added activities which occur in the collision repair process while at the same time maximizing the value seen by key stakeholders in the industry such as the insurers and the vehicle owners. In addition, the efficiencies championed in PCE encourage Sustainability thru reduced waste enabling not only an increase in profitability but also a reduction in the carbon footprint of the shop which provides long range benefits for both the local and global community.
