AkzoNobel conference honors collision repairers

from North America attended the AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat selected Summer

Conference.

Nearly 200 collision repair industry professionals representing collision repair centers, dealerships and distributorships in North America, gathered at Nashville, Tennessee’s Opryland Hotel Sept. 17 for the 19th annual AkzoNobel Sikkens Acoat selected Summer Conference.

The three-day event included breakout sessions, customized performance group and individual consulting opportunities, and workshops on topics such as technology hardware, managing and leading change, building employee accountability, and negotiating successful communication strategies — all designed to help improve business productivity, profitability and sustainability.

Conference highlights included industry keynote speaker Edward G. Campbell and his presentation on Motivational Leadership, a group dinner at the Wildhorse Saloon in downtown Nashville and the annual customer awards luncheon. Top Sikkens Acoat selected shops were recognized for their business excellence, sales performance and active contributions to their community and industry at-large.
