Dana's drive and steer axles will now be made
available to the entire aftermarket.
Designed to provide reliable and durable axles to
the light-vehicle and specialty-product markets,
the universal axles are ideally suited for off-
road, racing, street rod and industrial vehicles,
according to Bill Gryzenia, vice president and
general manager.
The new program will offer Dana 30, 44, 60, 70, and
80 model axles, manufactured with Spicer
components, for a variety of ratios.
“Due to today’s growing demand for quality axles
and gearing, Dana is now offering its axles to the
entire aftermarket,” says Gryzenia.
“Our customers require dependable and strong axles,
and by fulfilling demand for the aftermarket
they’re able to enjoy the superior performance made
possible by Dana products,” he adds.
“Until now, many consumers looking for Dana axles
were limited to remanufactured units or those found
in the salvage marketplace, where genuine Spicer
components could not be guaranteed,” Gryzenia
reports. “We are pleased to be able to fill that
void and make these axles available to the entire
aftermarket.”
Dana’s crate axles will be on display throughout
this week’s Specialty Equipment Market Association
(SEMA) Show. Dana engineers and technical experts
will be available for product discussions, and tear
down and build demonstrations will be conducted on
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10 a.m. and 2
p.m.
