Dana is debuting a new line of SVL drivetrain components for automotive, commercial vehicle and off-highway aftermarket applications.

Designed specifically for older, post-warranty vehicles, they offer quality replacement parts for vehicles with lower usage cycles, according to Bill Gryzenia, vice president and general manager.

“The drivetrain aftermarket demands a quality product option for applications that do not require genuine original equipment performance specifications,” he says.

“The SVL product line fulfills the market’s need for durable performance and is fully validated by Dan a’s experienced engineering team,” says Gryzenia.

The line will initially roll out in North America and feature universal joints for the light- and commercial-vehicle markets plus ring and pinion gear sets for heavy duty applications.

Shortly after the launch, Dana will begin offering SVL-branded light-duty axle components.

Additional product releases and regional availability will be determined based on market demand.

“Operators of older, less frequently used vehicles are seeking value pricing from a trusted source with consistent quality and reliability,” Gryzenia says. “As an extension of Dana’s current product offerings, SVL offers valuable driveline solutions that are affordable and delivered with the service and reliability our customers have come to expect.”
