One lucky person will have the chance to win a
beautiful, restored 1968 Ford Mustang V8 and bragging
rights to a garage that will be the envy of the
neighborhood – both online and off if they enter
Purolator’s Garage-A-Thon promotion.
Sponsored by Purolator, the Garage-A-Thon promotion
kicked off on Aug. 29, and is a 6-week promotion for
do-it-yourself (DIY) motorists in the U.S. who are proud
of their home garage, want to put it on display and get
the chance to win prizes.
Interested ‘garage owners’ should submit a photo of
their garage along with a title of their garage and
brief description to enter the contest. This gives the
individual a chance to win a daily prize for eight weeks
and compete for the grand prize of a Ford Mustang. Each
individual can ask friends, family members, and their
network of Facebook friends, to vote for their garage in
the last 2 weeks of the promotion. The number of votes
combined with the decision of a panel of judges will
determine the sweepstakes winner.
“Our primary goal with the Purolator Garage-A-Thon
promotion is to engage Purolator’s Facebook community of
DIY consumers,” said Monica Christensen, Brand Manager,
Purolator Filters. “The Purolator Garage-A-Thon
promotion gives these enthusiasts an opportunity to show
off their garage and, at the same time, have a chance to
win daily prizes including oil filters, Purolator
promotional items, Hendrick Motor Sports merchandise,
Bosch power tools, or even a mini fridge. Plus, have the
chance to win a classic car.”
Purolator’s Garage-A-Thon photo contest is open to legal
residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the
District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older
at time of entry. For more information visit the
Purolator Facebook page for details.
