General Tire attracts film buffs via 'Fast Five' consumer contest

To celebrate the release of the fifth installment of The Fast and The Furious movie series, a flick called ?Fast Five,? General has announced the winners of its the Fast Five Sweepstakes conducted in conjunction with the film.

Daniel Luscomb of Garland, Texas, won the grand prize – a trip for two to Brazil, the location where the movie was filmed. Jennifer Brown of Cortland, Ohio, took home a custom Fast Five Gibson guitar; and Christa Lewis of Clayton, N.C.; Loc Do of Garden Grove, Calif.; and Theodore Becker of Dixon, Ill.; were the recipients of four new General tires.

The movie, which was No. 1 at the box office opening week and saw more than $500 million in worldwide sales, was the first of the series to be shown on the larger-than-life IMAX screen.
