Amerityre Corp. is introducing a “high performance” forklift tire in Phoenix at the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association Convention, the largest gathering of independent warehouse industry operators in North America.

The new tire is produced using Kryon, which was developed in 2009.

“This new proprietary compound in our Kryon line has been designed to improve durability and load-carrying capacity as compared to conventional rubber tires,” says Tim Ryan, Amerityre’s chairman.

“Of special interest to electric lift users, the new Kryon tires offer significantly reduced rolling resistance,” he adds, noting that they will not put marks on warehouse floors.
