Kumho and the Miami Heat basketball team have launched an interactive fan zone at the home-court American Airlines Arena.

Located on the 300 Level in a newly renovated area of the site, it features a “gaming wall” with an array of offerings for the team’s followers.

“The Kumho Fan Zone is an area designed specifically to engage Heat fans of all ages, and we hope it will become a signature area and activity for our fans in Uptown,” says Eric Woolworth, president of team’s business operations.

“The passion of the Heat’s players, fans and employees drives the Heat brand,” notes J.B. Kim, CEO and president of Kumho Tire USA, “and we at Kumho understand how important passion is to elevate a brand.”

Kim goes on to point out that “partnering with the Heat allows Kumho to tap into this enthusiasm and excitement for the team and drive that passion for Kumho’s brand as well.”

Fans will also enjoy the giveaways and contests that will be hosted in the Kumho Fan Zone, he says, and they can also take advantage of exclusive “Kumho Combos” that will be offered at the concession stand located in the Kumho Fan Zone.

The Miami Heat Dancers and Burnie, the team’s mascot will make regular appearances to interact with fans. Visitors can also pose for commemorative photographs that will be emailed to them. “This way, fans can share their incredible experience at the Miami Heat games and Kumho Fan Zone through various social networks,” Kim says.
