Citing a continuing rise in raw material costs, Continental is implementing price increases of up to 6.5 percent with some in-line adjustments on its PLT Continental, General and proprietary brand passenger car and light truck tires in the U.S.

Pricing will vary by product line and size; the increases take effect on Jan. 1.
