Uniroyal is launching its new ultra-high performance Tiger Paw GTZ All Season on July 1.

“The Uniroyal brand resonates with drivers and is known for trust and longevity,” says category manager Duane Thomas. “Right now, the ultra-high performance all season category is one of the fastest growing segments of the market,” he observes.

“In this economy, drivers are reluctant to purchase high-end tires, but aren’t willing to sacrifice quality,” Thomas reports. “By offering high quality at an affordable price, we are helping fill that need in the marketplace.”

The GTZ features DuraShield technology, which includes pyramidal steel belts, insulating belt edge strips and a heavy gauge inner liner. All of these parts help the tire absorb impact, reduce stress, run cooler and extend belt and tire life, according to Thomas. A non-directional tread design allows it to be rotated on all sides of the vehicle to provide even wear throughout the life of the tire.

Other elements include a Tiger Claw tread design with a solid center rib and optimized tread compound for reliable performance in all seasons. “These technologies all work together to provide increased tread life, more balanced wear and all season reliability.”

It has a Z-speed rating and will be available in 25 sizes; interested dealers should contact a MAST representative.
