Douglas Wind of Windspeed Motorsports took second place in the street/FWD class during the Nov. 12 Super Lap Battle finals at Buttonwillow Raceway in California.

Continental Tire is a sponsor of the 2008 Super Lap Battle Series, a time trial-based showcase of the fastest cars tricked out by American, Japanese and European tuners. Continental is focusing on the Street Class with its ContiSportContact 2 and 3 ultra-high performance tires.

Don Hill, P1Auto: Hill runs a 1992 Honda Civic in the Street FF Class on 255/40/17 Continental ContiSportContact 3s. Modifications include: a 240 whp GSR-B18, GT28RS turbo engine; Tein Flex's suspension; OEM Integra Type-R transmission; AEM EMS ECU; front -Stop-Tech ST-40s, rear-OEM ITR brakes; and Motegi Tracklite wheels.
