    Cooper initiates April-June production cuts

    Cooper Tire has reduced production in its North American plants from April through June to counter “decreased tire demand and projected shortages of certain raw materials.” The company says the curtailments are expected to cost an estimated $12 million to $14 million. Headquartered in Findlay, Ohio, Cooper has 67 worldwide locations
