AMI announces AVI scholarship recipient

Sept. 24, 2012

Sept. 24, 2012—The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) recently awarded Edward Roth with the Automotive Video Inc. (AVI) Education scholarship.

The AMI said the AVI Education scholarship recognizes automotive service professionals who have a desire to improve their management and technical skills. Roth, service advisor for North Town Auto Service & Tire Center in McHenry, Ill., will receive $1,000 toward expenses to attend the AVI Training Conference, scheduled for Oct. 29-30 in Las Vegas.

Roth has worked in the automotive service industry for 25 years, the AMI said. He holds several industry certifications and is currently completing the requirements to earn AMI’s Accredited Automotive Manager (AAM) designation.

“I’m thankful for this opportunity to grow and learn from some of the best and brightest in the industry,” Roth said. “The conference also offers many occasions to network, share ideas and learn from other industry professionals.”
