Report on Wednesday to show benefits of auto safety laws over 20 years

May 24, 2010—A new report showing the impact of auto safety laws over the past 20 years will be release_notesd by the national group Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety at a news conference in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

The report will show billions of dollars in cost savings, as well as thousands of lives that were saved as a result of auto safety laws, according to a press release from the Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety.

The conference will also serve as a meeting ground for the advocates, government leaders, businesses and victims to push for more auto and highway safety laws.
