Dec. 4, 2013—PPG Automotive Refinish announced Tuesday that three of its clearcoat products have been approved by Chrysler Group LLC for warranty repairs on all Chrysler vehicles.
The approved clearcoats are:
Envirobase High Performance EC800 Ultra Fast 2.1 Clearcoat
Deltron DC2000 Ultra Velocity Clearcoat
Nexa Autocolor P190-6800 HS Express Clearcoat
In a press release_notes, PPG said it promises four things from its tested product: quick drying, no flash time between coats, no baking, and the ability to polish within approximately 30 minutes of application.
