GM approves Sherwin-Williams Elegance clearcoat

March 23, 2011 — General Motors recently gave a global green light to Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes’ 1100755 Elegance clearcoat.

The clearcoat passed GM’s extensive certification process to meet high standards for vehicles repaired at the company’s dealerships, according to Sherwin-Williams.

“We’re pleased that General Motors has recognized the Elegance clearcoat as a premium clearcoat solution,” said Jason Crager, business development manager for the OEM sector of Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “Along with our HPC15 and HPC21 clear products, we believe Sherwin-Williams offers some of the fastest and highest quality clearcoats allowing collision centers to increase productivity and profitability while saving energy costs.
