VeriFacts Automotive, LLC's next Guild 21 Webinar will be held on Thursday, August 12 at 11 a.m. PT and focus on “All Things Honda.” The 60-minute presentation will feature Scott Kaboos, America Honda Motor Company’s national assistant manager of Collision Repair Training and Technology. Kaboos will be joined by John Chambers, Honda’s new assistant manager in charge of the Honda/Acura certified network of collision repair shops; and Dane Rounkles, Honda’s new manager of Wholesale Collision Parts Marketing.

Kaboos, Chambers, and Rounkles will talk about the company’s certified collision repair program as well as new training opportunities for the industry.

Discussion topics will include:

• New training platform with VeriFacts Automotive

• Service Information Systems access for technicians

• Name change of program from ProFirst to Honda/Acura Certified Collision Repair

• Increase in stamping production for service sheet metal parts

• New models recently released: 22M Civic, 22M MDX and 22M TLX

The webinar will be hosted by George Avery, industry consultant and professional speaker; Gabriel Morley, senior vice president of VeriFacts; and Micki Woods, a collision industry marketing specialist and podcast host. Following the presentation, there will be time for Q&A.

“Honda/Acura has a lot of exciting things going on to further educate and support their network shops, especially pertaining to the OEM-specific training around emerging technologies and Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS),” said Morley. “VeriFacts thought it would be a great opportunity to share this information with the industry and showcase their support and focus on quality repairs as well as how they are working towards making that knowledge more accessible and easier to utilize day-to-day.”

Scott Kaboos

Kaboos has been an I-CAR instructor and welding administrator for nine years and has completed I-CAR Platinum Pro Level 3 certifications in six categories. In addition, he is an ASE Master Certified collision repair technician and has earned Automotive Management Institute’s credentials of Accredited Master of Automotive Management (AMAM) and Accredited Master of Collision-Repair Estimating (AMCE) certifications.

John Chambers

Chambers has spent 25 years in the automotive industry, 19 years of which have been with American Honda. He recently moved into the Collision Marketing Group after spending several years in the Retail Parts Department where he helped develop and grow the Bulk Oil, Tire and Battery Programs.

Dane Rounkles

Rounkles has worked in the automotive industry for more than 30 years. He began his career working in a dealership and joined American Honda Motor Co. seven years ago as a collision marketing manager in the field. Recently, he was named manager for Wholesale Collision Parts Marketing in Torrance, CA.
