Multiple wheel makers making advance plans to exhibit at SEMA

Wheel manufacturers are showing strong signs of confidence in the economy by already booking booth space for the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.
Wheel manufacturers – perhaps more than any other segment – “are showing strong signs of confidence in the economy” by already booking booth space well in advance of the Oct. 30-Nov. 2 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, according to the expo’s organizers.

The event will include nearly 150 manufacturers exhibiting in the Wheels & Accessories area, the highest number of exhibitors since the section was created in 2010. Among the companies reserving booths are several first-time exhibitors and some that have not exhibited in recent years.

“Wheels are such an integral product in our industry,” says Peter MacGillivray, vice president of events and communications, “and the fact that so many exhibitors have confirmed their participation this early in the year is exciting.”

Along with the Global Tire Expo – Powered by TIA (the Tire Industry Association), the Wheels & Accessories section of the SEMA Show fills the entire lower level of the South Hall. Other sections include Business Services, Collision Repair & Refinish, Hot Rod Alley, Mobile Electronics & Technology, Powersports & Utility Vehicles, Racing & Performance, Restoration Marketplace, Restyling & Car Care Accessories, Tools & Equipment, and Trucks, SUVs & Off-Road.

The exhibitor list and floorplan will be posted at www.semashowlcom after the participants begin selecting their space later this month.
