Federal-Mogul Corporation’s Wagner® brand is the first aftermarket brand to offer replacement brake pads for 2010 Toyota Prius models. The new Wagner ThermoQuiet® ceramic pads (Wagner Part No. QC1184A, front; QC1423, rear) are now available through leading distributors across North America.

As a global manufacturer of original equipment friction components, Federal-Mogul states that it is consistently among the first aftermarket manufacturers to introduce replacement brake pads and shoes for late-model foreign-nameplate and domestic applications.

“Wagner ThermoQuiet ceramic pads offer the quieter performance, superior stopping power and longer pad life that are important to the owners of today’s vehicles,” says Ken Selinger, director of friction products, North America, Federal-Mogul. “We are pleased that auto parts stores and automotive service providers can be the first in their markets to offer Wagner ThermoQuiet replacement brake pads for the 2010 Toyota Prius.”

Available for a comprehensive range of vehicles that were factory equipped with ceramic pads as well as many popular models originally using semi-metallic formulations, Wagner ThermoQuiet disc brake pads combine the benefits of two patented technologies: Federal-Mogul’s Integrally Molded Insulator (IMI™) one-piece brake pad and Wagner EDGE® Laser-Shaped Friction™ designs. Combined with the company’s portfolio of proprietary, application-specific formulations, these technologies deliver quieter performance, superior stopping power, enhanced durability and less brake dust.
