Nov. 3, 2016—The MoKan CARSTAR Business Group recently raised funds to send a 13-year-old named Maddox on his dream vacation to Disneyland.
Additionally, the group planned to present Maddox's family with a $5,000 check to grant his wish on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
Maddox is battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and looked forward to having his dreams fulfilled by going to Cars Land at Disneyland.
"Wishes like Maddox's lift kids and their families up at a time that they need it most, and help them forge ahead with hope," said Patrick Duncan, chair of Make-A-Wish Missouri's Kansas City development board.
