Snap-On, GM to Host Interactive Demo at NACE/CARS

July 21, 2014

July 21, 2014—Attendees at the 2014 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference will be able to participate in Snap-On and General Motors scan tool demos during the event, the Automotive Service Association announced Friday.

Both collision and mechanical repairers will be able to benefit from the interactive demos by seeing the latest scan tool offerings from the two companies on running vehicles—a first in the history of the trade show.

NACE/CARS will take place July 30–Aug. 2 at the COBO Center in Detroit. Scan tool demos will be held on the expo show floor, in the CARS Demo Zone July 31, and Aug. 1, during show hours.

In addition to the demos, Snap-On Tools will give away its ETHOS Plus scan tool to one attendee. The tool allows technicians a quick way to access OEM-specific codes and live data for over 40 vehicle makes and boots up in about 10 seconds.
