CARSTAR Aims for 660 Shops by End of 2018

July 20, 2018—During a media call on Thursday, CARSTAR President Michael Macaluso said the MSO hopes to reach 660 shops in North America by the end of 2018.

Just this past week, CARSTAR opened its 600th location in Ontario.

Macaluso estimated on the media call that CARSTAR had approximately 565 shops divided between the U.S. and Canada at the end of 2017. 

Macaluso said the bulk of the company's 2018 growth plans would be in the U.S. 

Other key highlights from the call included:

• The CARSTAR growth has been a desire to grow from within and partner with locally, successful collision groups and shops.
• The CARSTAR philosophy has been that "performance drives growth."
• In terms of growing overseas, right now the company is laser-focused on North America, but there is the possibility.
